1.   OSB roof shealthing in place of plywood                       

        Why?....... plywood costs 3 times more!

 

  2.   Most builders use standard 20-25 year 3 tab shingles

         Why?...... again price!   3-tab shingles costs less!

 

  3.   Wall height, often charge more for higher walls.

        The often advertised lower cottage style sheds use less material

 

  4.    Sheds often trimmed with spruce.

         Again a big savings for the builder and an inferior product.

   

  5.   Design.....  Our sheds have roof overhang on

        all 4 sides, most often others only have overhang on front.

        Something as simple as a shutter having only 2 boards in place of

        3 or flower boxes built with inferior materials that will not last.

        Savings in money and time!

      

  6.   Quality finish lacking. Why?

         It takes time and labour to make sure the shed is finished to a

         high quality standard.

           

  7.   Lastly.....  That very low advertised price!   Why?

        To get their foot in the door?   Too only add costly options which

        they know most customers will want or need.
